Monkey Brings Rain
The friends came to a town where it had not rained for a long, long time. The fields were dry and the flowers drooped.
Children carried little buckets far away to find water. "Can you help us?" asked a little girl.
Wukong jumped on his cloud and flew up, up, up to ask for rain.
High in the sky, he found the Rain Dragon and his helpers: Granny Wind, Grandpa Thunder and the Cloud Boy.
"The town is very thirsty," said Wukong. "Could you please send them some rain?" The Rain Dragon smiled and nodded.
Granny Wind blew and Grandpa Thunder beat his drums. Big grey clouds rolled over the town.
Then soft rain began to fall on the fields, the flowers and the thirsty town.
The children danced and jumped in the puddles. Everyone in the town smiled, and the flowers stood up tall.
That night, everyone fell asleep to the gentle sound of the rain.
孙悟空求雨
大家来到一个小镇，这里好久好久没有下雨了。田地干干的，花儿都蔫了。
孩子们提着小桶，走很远很远的路去找水。一个小女孩问：“你们能帮帮我们吗？”
孙悟空跳上筋斗云，往上飞呀飞，飞到天上去求雨。
在高高的天上，他找到了雨龙，还有他的帮手：风婆婆、雷公公和云童子。
孙悟空说：“那个小镇好渴好渴，能请你们下一场雨吗？”雨龙笑着点了点头。
风婆婆呼呼地吹风，雷公公咚咚地敲鼓。大朵大朵的灰云飘到了小镇上空。
然后，软软的雨落了下来，落在田地上，落在花儿上，落在口渴的小镇上。
孩子们在雨里跳舞，踩着水坑玩。农民们笑了，花儿也挺起了腰。
那天晚上，大家听着轻轻的雨声，甜甜地睡着了。
