Pigsy Joins
Tang Sanzang and Wukong came to a little village. Old Farmer Gao looked very worried.
"A big hungry pig eats ALL our food," said Farmer Gao. "Rice, buns, melons… everything!"
Wukong had a clever plan. "Hungry pigs love buns," he whispered.
Pop! Wukong changed into a giant, fluffy steamed bun. It smelled SO good.
Thump, thump! In came the big pig, sniffing. "Mmm! A BUN!" He opened his mouth wide…
POP! The bun jumped up and turned back into Wukong! "Surprise!" The big pig fell on his bottom.
"Wait! Is that Tang Sanzang?" said the pig. "Guanyin told me to wait for him. I want to go west too!"
Tang Sanzang gave him a name: Zhu Bajie. "I will share," said Bajie. "Well… most of the time."
That night, Bajie snored very, very loudly. "Goodnight, Bajie," giggled Wukong, covering his ears.
猪八戒
唐僧和孙悟空来到一个小村子。高老头看起来很发愁。
高老头说：“有一只大胖猪，把我们的东西全吃光了！米饭、包子、西瓜……什么都吃！”
孙悟空想了一个好办法。他小声说：“贪吃的猪最喜欢包子啦。”
砰！孙悟空变成了一个又大又白的包子，好香好香。
咚咚咚，大胖猪走了进来，鼻子嗅呀嗅。“嗯！包子！”他张大了嘴巴……
砰！包子一跳，变回了孙悟空！“吓你一跳！”大胖猪一屁股坐在地上。
大胖猪说：“等一等！那是唐僧吗？观音菩萨叫我在这里等他。我也要去西天！”
于是，唐僧给他取了个名字，叫猪八戒。八戒说：“我保证跟大家分着吃……大多数时候吧。”
那天晚上，八戒的呼噜打得好响好响。孙悟空捂着耳朵，咯咯笑着说：“晚安，八戒。”
