The Fire Mountain
The friends came to a mountain covered in fire. It was so hot, nobody could walk across.
"Only Princess Iron Fan's magic fan can put out the fire," said a kind farmer. "Her fan is made of a giant palm leaf."
Wukong asked to borrow the fan. "No!" said the princess. She waved it once, and a big wind blew Wukong far, far away!
Wukong landed on a faraway mountain. A kind old man gave him a magic pearl that stops the wind.
Wukong flew back. The princess waved her fan again. This time, Wukong did not move at all!
Then Wukong turned into a tiny bee. He buzzed around her ear and tickled her nose until she giggled.
"All right, all right!" laughed the princess. "You may borrow my fan."
Wukong waved the fan three times. The fire went out, and cool rain began to fall.
Wukong gave the fan back to the princess. That night, everyone slept on cool, soft grass.
火焰山
大家来到一座着火的大山前。山上热得不得了，谁也走不过去。
一位好心的农民说：“只有铁扇公主的芭蕉扇，才能扇灭这里的火。那是一把用大芭蕉叶做的宝扇。”
孙悟空想借扇子，公主说：“不借！”她扇了一下，一阵大风把孙悟空吹得好远好远！
孙悟空落在了一座很远的山上。一位和善的老爷爷送给他一颗定风珠，能挡住大风。
孙悟空飞了回来。公主又扇了一下扇子。这一次，孙悟空一动也不动！
孙悟空变成了一只小蜜蜂，在公主耳边嗡嗡飞，挠得她鼻子痒痒的，忍不住咯咯笑。
公主笑着说：“好啦好啦！扇子借给你吧。”
孙悟空扇了三下，大火灭了，凉凉的雨落了下来。
孙悟空把扇子还给了公主。那天晚上，大家睡在凉凉的软草地上。
