The Picture That Wasn't True
Grandma gave Tock a picture-maker. "Tock, make a bun!" said Pip. Fuzz cleared into a bun!
Mrs Mo blocked the door. "No puppies tonight! He ate my buns!" "He did NOT!" cried Pip. "I'll show you!"
Mrs Mo held up a picture of Dumpling. "A picture doesn't fib!" Pip stamped. "It's NOT TRUE!"
"Is it true? Let's check!" Pip sniffed Dumpling. No bun smell! "Tock, did he eat the buns?" "Not sure."
"Dumpling is sorry!" said Pip. But Dumpling jumped and bumped the flour sack. Mrs Mo was white all over! "OUT!"
"Tock, make a picture of Dumpling being good!" Out came Dumpling in a crown! Pip giggled. Then she stopped.
"Dumpling never wore a crown! Pictures can be MADE! A picture doesn't mean it happened! Quick, Tock!"
"Wait!" cried Pip. "Tock, make Mrs Mo flying over Pancake Hill!" The fuzz cleared. There she was! "Is it true?"
"Is THIS true? Let's check!" TWO black ears on the picture. ONE on Dumpling! "So who ate my buns?"
"Chatter?" gasped Pip. Chatter flew down to Dumpling. "I ate the buns and asked Tock for the picture. Sorry, Dumpling!"
"First bun for Dumpling!" cried Pip. Mrs Mo wagged a finger at Tock. "No pictures of me, unless I say yes!"
"Goodnight, Tock." "Is it true? Let's check!" said Tock. "Is it true Dumpling loves me?" Lick! "TRUE!"
不是真的画
奶奶送嘀嗒一个画画框。皮皮说：“嘀嗒，画个包子！”雪花点散开，变成了包子！
莫婶婶堵住门：“今晚小狗不许进！他偷了我的包子！”皮皮喊：“才没有！我查给你看！”
莫婶婶举起一张画，画上是汤圆！“画可不会骗人！”皮皮跺脚喊：“不是真的！”
“是真的吗？查一查！”皮皮闻闻汤圆，没有包子味！“嘀嗒，他吃包子了吗？”“不确定。”
皮皮说：“汤圆说对不起！”可汤圆一跳，撞翻了面粉袋。莫婶婶全身都白了！“出去！”
“嘀嗒，画个乖乖的汤圆！”画上的汤圆戴着王冠！皮皮笑了，笑着笑着，又不笑了。
“汤圆从没戴过王冠！画是可以变出来的！有一张画，不等于真有这回事！嘀嗒，快走！”
皮皮喊：“等一等！嘀嗒，画莫婶婶飞过烧饼山！”雪花点散开，她飞起来啦！“是真的吗？”
“这张是真的吗？查一查！”画上两只黑耳朵，汤圆只有一只！“谁吃了我的包子？”
皮皮叫：“喳喳？”喳喳飞到汤圆身边：“包子是我吃的，画是我让嘀嗒画的。汤圆，对不起！”
皮皮叫：“第一个给汤圆！”莫婶婶朝嘀嗒摇摇手指：“再画我，得先问我答不答应！”
“晚安，嘀嗒。”嘀嗒说：“是真的吗？查一查！”“汤圆爱我，是真的吗？”舔一舔！“是真的！”
